UK Federation for Detached Youth Work- FDYW- celebrate a conference for all involved in Street Work
3 october 2011
The conference will take place from Friday 11 to Sunday November 13, 2011.
The FDYW invites participation from a wide community of youth and adult workers, drugs, crime and health workers, drugs, crime and health workers, those working with homeless people, and researchers of these fields.
Contributions are sought from those wishing to present a paper, or facilitate a workshop or symposium on the following or related themes, such as:
- Street education& street society.
- European& international dimensions of street work
- Policy & practice
- Philosophical & political aspects of street work
- The street-based context of crime
- Violence, antisocial behaviour
- Gangs&sexual exploitation
- Poverty & social exclusion
- Health, homelessness & drugs
