This site will allow you, amongst others, to gain information on all the activities and results obtained within the frame of the network; to participate to the process of exchanges of good practices; to constitute a local workshop of street workers and to become a member of the work.
Dynamo international is at the initiative and coordinates this actual platform of international solidarity for street educators.

Already for the third year, Dynamo International will fully invest in the Esperanzah festival scheduled to take place at the Floreffe abbey on August 1, 2 and 3 2008.
Same as each year, the festival develops a special thematic, “A decent job” being that of the 2008 edition. Much more than a just a shop window, it concerns for these forty associations to work collectively in order to defend a common theme. To that end, four poles of associations will inform the public on themes all of them relating to decent job conditions. (Migrations, J.O. Propre, Consom’action, Agriculture).
Dynamo International and the migrations pole.
The migration pole in which Dynamo International will take part will take into consideration the various types of migration : from North to South, inter-countries, from the country to the city, … We will also approach various causes of the migration : conflicts, socio-economical problems, …
People who migrate are often faced with situations of non-right and, in these circumstances, the matter of earning (hardly) a decent living turns out to be especially crucial. Among the migrants who work, some are economically exploited, even victims of actual networks of illegal employment, and this takes place next door to us. This cheap labour obviously represents an advantage for the developed economies, the not too scrupulous employers and the traffickers. Hence, the stake is to ensure that all migrants be given access to a decent job and the rights entailed by it.
This Migration pole has as object to inform the visitors of the festival, to increase their awareness and offer them alternatives by means of examples. The idea is not to take a real situation as basis but well of “an imaginary country”, an El Dorado : non determined country, area or continent representing for the future migrants a so-called opportunity of decent work conditions. That is the head side. On the tail side, once they will have entered this El Dorado, they will discover situations of non decent work conditions.
This approach will give the visitors more ample information on the present state of the question in Belgium, in the European Union and in the countries of the South. But also, will give them the opportunity to catch a glimpse of possible means of action and to imagine possible alternatives in their quest.
Migration of children and youngsters into the street
Especially concerned by this theme, Dynamo International will provide the festival visitors with information concerning the migrations and work conditions of street children. Both migration from country to cities, but also migration of the child or the youngster into the street.
The reasons which push a child or a youngster to leave home to join the street are of very different natures. Even if certain similarities exist between the situations of quite a number of children who make that choice or are constrained to make it, it is impossible to lay down very definite criteria susceptible to fully understand this act.
On the one hand it may concern an immediate expulsion and non chosen by the child due to a violent event, an accident, the death of parents, just a pure rejection, the designation of the child as scapegoat or also due to the brutal degrading of the economical situation of the family.
In other instances, it may be the case of a chosen and progressive departure. In most cases a child does not become a street child from one day to the next.
Therefore, many among them do not necessarily leave their home at the first difficulties or the first violence in their home or everyday life environment. Also, numerous children find themselves landed in the street to earn substance and bring help to their relatives.
One thing is certain, to define the child in street situation solely in terms of victim or delinquent will never help to save it.
It is only by recognising the competences and resources the child develops in the street that one can promote its social and family insertion
