HAÏTI EMERGENCY

The situation in Haïti catchs the general attention. The emergency foreign-aid is pouring in, mobilizations are massives. If our proficiency isn’t in the field of current imperatives, our involvement will be all the more essential at the time of the re-erecting of the several structures.
The CEP (Popular Education Centre), member of the International Network of social streetworkers, under coordination of Jean-Robert CHERY, is the subject of a specific support from the NGO Dynamo International. Located in St-Gerard Street of Port-aux-Princes, that has been hardly damaged, the centre will have to be rebuilt.
On the other hand, in view of the number of casualties, it makes us think that the number of children left to their own devices will increase in this capital where around 6000 children are already in straits.
Dynamo International is creating a fund that will be used, at the proper time, to build a new centre but also for the revival and reinforcement of social streetwork in the months and years ahead.
